About The Position
Lakeside Book Company, the largest bookmaker in the United States, is seeking Material Handlers to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for moving the finished product from the production line to be shipped to readers nationwide. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided, and advancement opportunities are available.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for the entire duration of your shift
- Ability to read and interpret written work which indicates the number and sequence of machine operations required to complete the work and maintain dimensional accuracy in accordance with instructions provided
Nice To Haves
- Preference will be given to candidates who agree to participate in cross-training which includes achieving qualified status within the position and assuming responsibility as a back-up to lateral and progressive roles, as needed.
