You will coordinate all electrical and structural material movement within various locations, ensuring flawless execution of tasks and maintaining strict cleanliness standards. We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Material Handler to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently move, load, and unload materials throughout the facility, with the majority of the time spent operating a forklift. Additional duties include coordinating inventory, staging materials for production, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of one-year prior forklift experience is required
  • Previous experience in material handling in a warehouse and manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated diligent and detailed work ethic
  • Ability to work well with others in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing across the organization
  • Bottom-line accountability and cost-conscious orientation
  • Ability to meet the physical demands including safely lifting up to 70 pounds, standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver's License

Nice To Haves

  • familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous
  • Forklift Certification is an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Retrieving & delivering all parts and materials to installers
  • Operating a forklift to transport and load materials as required
  • Replenishing point-of-use carts with required materials daily
  • Loading pipe racks
  • Cutting and staging insulation
  • Setting up electrical tables and parts in buildings, as needed
  • Receipting in and relieving material in the ERP system
  • Maintaining, collecting, and coordinating pallets and crates for return to identified suppliers
  • Disposing of crates and pallets that cannot be returned in designated dumpsters
  • Emptying trash, cardboard, and metal containers
  • Building crates for service and warranty as needed
  • Assisting in other duties as assigned
