At our Stratford Facility, we fabricate and assemble components for heavy truck, defense, and off-road equipment companies. We feature fitting and welding, metal forming, saw cutting, painting, assembly department, and manufacture everything from small components to large structures, sheet metal to heavy plate. We have an opportunity for a Material Handler at our Stratford facility. The position will be responsible for coordinating and moving material throughout the plant to ensure efficient product flow.

Requirements

  • Must have forklift experience in sit-down propane counterbalance and stand-up reach
  • Valid drivers Permit
  • Lifting up to 50lbs manually

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Manufacturing is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Ensure parts are moved to the proper locations within the facilities
  • Assist in the staging and kitting of jobs as required
  • Coordinate the movement of inventory throughout the plants
  • Help maintain a neat and organized shop and yard.
  • Receiving of inventory as required
  • Assist Shipping and Receiving in the loading and unloading of trucks when required
  • Receiving and entering the product into Visual.
  • Any additional duties as required by the supervisor.
  • Follow all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
