About The Position
As a Material Handler, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
- Ability to operate forklift in a safe and responsible manner, wear seatbelt.
- Able to work flexible hours/weekends/overtime.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that any unoccupied dock doors are chained off/blocked for fork truck entry.
- Ensuring equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition.
- Other duties on production floor assigned by Supervisor (which may include movement of non-TCAO and subcontract material).
- Unloading/loading trucks with shipments.
- Create shippers for outgoing painted cabs.
- May perform inventory control (counting, simple reporting).
- Packs/produces product in small bags, FIBCs, and Rail/Bulk.
