About The Position

The Material Handler processes paperwork and data, picks orders, makes deliveries, keeps records, and counts materials, supplies, tools, and finished goods. The role also supports packaging and shipping materials to internal and external customers. It uses basic computer functions to access production control and material data systems and help develop and implement shipping and delivery, tool control, manufacturing setup, and production schedules. The position transports parts, materials, and customer orders using a box truck and forklift, while maintaining a clean work environment and following safety protocols and applicable company, customer, and government standards. Other duties may be assigned.

Compensation is $18.26–$30.49, based on applicable skills and experience.

Requirements

• Valid California driver's license and clean driving record.
• Forklift certified or able to become certified.
• Able to independently carry 50 pounds.
• Able to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Process paperwork, enter data, pick orders, make deliveries, keep records, and count materials, supplies, tools, and finished goods accurately and efficiently.
• Support packaging and shipping materials to internal and external customers.
• Use basic computer functions to access production control and material data systems and assist with developing and implementing shipping and delivery, tool control, manufacturing setup, and production schedules.
• Transport parts, materials, and customer orders using box truck and forklift equipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety protocols in compliance with company standards and customer and government regulations.
• Perform other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned.
