About The Position

As a Material Handler at GXO, you will support the delivery of supply chain solutions by moving material and inventory throughout a facility. You may use hand trucks, conveyors, and other material handling equipment, and perform tasks such as packing, scanning, kitting, counting, order verification, and product labeling. The role requires following the 7S program, maintaining a clean work environment, and working safely to protect yourself and your team members.

The job involves working in warehouse environments that may be hot or cold. Physical duties include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, sitting, or walking for prolonged periods, bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, pushing, pulling, and handling tools or equipment. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to perform basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.
• Be able to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods.
• Be able to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
• Be able to handle or manage tools or equipment.
• Be able to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives.
