About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for handling and transacting materials and placing them in appropriate storage locations using handheld scanners and manual data entry. The role includes releasing discrete jobs, maintaining material flow from Gateway for issuance, updating spreadsheets, conducting inventory checks and adjustments, and performing Oracle inventory transactions. The associate supports warehouse and manufacturing needs across multiple functions.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or at least one year of manufacturing experience.
At least two years of forklift experience in a warehouse environment, including propane and battery/electric sit-down models.
Cycle count experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Adhere to company safety rules and regulations.
Be skilled in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Demonstrate professional oral and written communication skills and communicate with multiple organizational levels, including management.
Maintain attention to detail and produce error-free results.
Be flexible to work weekends.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience across functions or departments.
Oracle and handheld scanner experience.
Leadership experience or qualities in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Safely handle and transport high-value, oversized manufactured products using mobile equipment.
Place fiber in appropriate inventory locations using handheld scanners and manual data entry.
Support raw material cycle counts.
Support raw material supply and demand planning.
Support incoming and outgoing WOP and WIP goods.
Work with multiple organizational levels to support warehouse and manufacturing needs.
Provide cross-functional support for Gateway, stock, puller, receiving/inventory control, and shipping.
Release discrete jobs, maintain material flow from Gateway for issuance, update spreadsheets, conduct inventory checks and adjustments, and perform Oracle inventory transactions.
