INTERSTATES IS GROWING, and we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support receiving, inventory management, and shipping operations. This role is responsible for unloading and inspecting incoming materials, preparing outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring on-time deliveries. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, strong computer skills, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience.
Strong computer skills required; experience with inventory management systems, Smartsheet experience is a plus.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

Smartsheet experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, verify, and record incoming materials and shipments for accuracy and quality.
Prepare, package, and ship finished goods while ensuring company quality standards are met.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move, and store materials safely.
Manage and coordinate on-time deliveries and shipment schedules.
Track inventory movements, maintain accurate records, and assist with inventory control activities.
Utilize computer systems and inventory management software to document transactions and maintain inventory accuracy.
Maintain shipping supplies, organize work areas, and assist with light vehicle and equipment maintenance.
Support a safe, efficient, and team-focused work environment.
