About The Position

Ichor Systems has an immediate opening for a temporary Material Handler, located in Fremont, CA. This role will be performing the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of inventory including parts, supplies, and equipment. Checks goods against purchase orders, invoices or lists; counts and physically moves parts up to 20' long into proper labeled locations.

Requirements

Ability to understand and adhere to company safety rules and regulation
Ability to follow the procedures, techniques, tools and processes appropriate to material handling
Excellent time management skills, maintain regular contact with site on route status, delays, or potential hazards
Excellent attention to detail, collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset
Good math skills, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, drive, and lift up to 50 lbs
2-3+ years of material handling or related experience
High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of ERP systems, Oracle is a plus
Pallet Jack and Forklift experience and certification, a plus

Responsibilities

May load and unload parts or materials from delivery vehicles
Examine documents for storage destination
Pull stored materials and move to production or shipping area
Document information relating to part numbers, counts, storage locations
Package and label materials according to specifications
Perform inventory counts as requested
Work with moderate supervision
Proficient in pulling and distributing of parts (kitting, receiving, put away)
Completing daily tasks quickly, efficiently and adhering to Quality and Safety standards
Works at computer, with printer and has knowledge of MS Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
