Requirements

Completion of High School or equivalent.
Ability to operate material handling equipment.
1-2 years of related experience is desired.
We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
All candidates for this ITAR restricted position must be one of the following: US Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident, Asylee, Refugee or otherwise lawfully admitted under an amnesty program.

Responsibilities

Performs duties in one or more of the following areas: shipping, receiving, warehousing and office deliveries.
Prepares related documentation and maintains files / records as required.
Prepares goods for shipment according to specifications, equipment characteristics, assign transportation methods, verifying identification and quality of product; preparing bills of lading; posting weight and other shipping details utilizing shipping carrier websites.
Receipt and unpacking of goods; checking against bills of lading, packing slips, identification, quantity while maintaining records and routing of material to stores or other destinations.
Enter correct receipt information into the operating system to generate a material document.
Picking products, cycle counting, sorting work orders and put-aways using barcode equipment and associated stockroom software applications.
Understanding of building layout and making internal recording and deliveries of packages / mail.
May at times require travel to the local Post Office to drop off certified letters for Legal, Tax and HR depts.
