Requirements

  • Completion of High School or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment.
  • 1-2 years of related experience is desired.
  • We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
  • All candidates for this ITAR restricted position must be one of the following: US Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident, Asylee, Refugee or otherwise lawfully admitted under an amnesty program.

  • Ability to lift 20 to 40 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

  • Performs duties in one or more of the following areas: shipping, receiving, warehousing and office deliveries.
  • Prepares related documentation and maintains files / records as required.
  • Prepares goods for shipment according to specifications, equipment characteristics, assign transportation methods, verifying identification and quality of product; preparing bills of lading; posting weight and other shipping details utilizing shipping carrier websites.
  • Receipt and unpacking of goods; checking against bills of lading, packing slips, identification, quantity while maintaining records and routing of material to stores or other destinations.
  • Enter correct receipt information into the operating system to generate a material document.
  • Picking products, cycle counting, sorting work orders and put-aways using barcode equipment and associated stockroom software applications.
  • Understanding of building layout and making internal recording and deliveries of packages / mail.
  • May at times require travel to the local Post Office to drop off certified letters for Legal, Tax and HR depts.
