About The Position

While autonomous machines offer significant advantages, they also introduce new safety challenges. FORT addresses these concerns by providing solutions such as the Wireless E-Stop, which allows operators to instantly stop any machine from a safe distance, enhancing safety during emergencies. Additionally, FORT's Safe Remote Control enables operators to manage heavy machinery remotely, reducing the risk of accidents and improving visibility. By ensuring communications integrity across any network, FORT empowers customers to protect their most valuable assets—people, data, and machines—ensuring they remain safe and secure. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Material Handler to join our logistics team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a great entry-level opportunity to get your foot in the door. No prior warehouse experience required, but preferred if available. If you show up ready to work, stay organized, and take pride in getting the details right, we'll set you up to succeed and grow with us.

Requirements

Dependable and on time — the team counts on you being there
Detail-oriented, especially when checking counts and paperwork
Comfortable being on your feet and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
A team player with a positive attitude

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience
Experience with a pallet jack, hand truck, or forklift

Responsibilities

Packing material and prepping orders for outbound shipment
Auditing picking slips to make sure orders are accurate and complete
Unloading incoming shipments and auditing received material against the paperwork
Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe
