Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current forklift operator certification or ability to obtain certification before operating powered industrial equipment.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English for safety and documentation purposes.
- Flexibility to work 8‑hour or 12‑hour shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
- Capability to move and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs. for distances of 10 feet or more.
- Must complete and pass training and certification requirements for this position within the designated timeline.
- Basic familiarity with digital tools or handheld scanning equipment for inventory and workflow tracking.
- Demonstrated understanding of workplace safety practices and compliance with manufacturing protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in fast‑paced environments.
- Commitment to working collaboratively within a team‑oriented environment to achieve performance targets.
Responsibilities
- Move product between trucks, storage racks, and designated areas to maintain continuous production flow and meet distribution schedules.
- Operate forklifts and related equipment to facilitate accurate and efficient handling of goods.
- Manage product movement using handheld terminals and laser scanning devices, ensuring real‑time accuracy of item numbers, lot codes, and location data.
- Complete manual recording of product movements during system downtime or offline scenarios as required.
- Conduct pre‑operation forklift inspections each shift to maintain safety and compliance.
- Support sanitation initiatives by performing required cleaning activities in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Demonstrate commitment to all safety systems and quality standards to protect teams and meet operational objectives.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and maintain compliance with The Coca‑Cola Company’s quality assurance programs.
