About The Position

TriMas Packaging LLC is seeking a Material Handler for their Hamilton, Indiana location. This is a full-time, hourly position responsible for various warehouse and distribution support tasks. The role involves operating lift trucks, maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing warehouse products, and safely handling hazardous materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Requirements

• Valid forklift license or ability to successfully complete forklift training.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
• Ability to safely handle hazardous materials.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 70 lbs).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately scan, track, and maintain inventory records.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to safely handle hazardous materials in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with all company safety standards.
• Flexibility to perform a variety of warehouse and receiving duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate lift trucks; must have a valid forklift license or be able to complete forklift training.
• Scan products in and out of the warehouse and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist with receiving clerk tasks and perform these duties as needed.
• Organize and maintain warehouse products for optimal workflow and accessibility.
• Handle hazardous materials safely according to company protocols.
• Lift and move items up to 70 lbs. as required.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the supervisor.
