About The Position
The Material Handler position involves working in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, adhering to safety rules, and understanding environmental issues within the plant. Responsibilities include operating production machinery, handling raw materials and finished products, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining/inspecting equipment. The role requires working 12-hour shifts and collaborating with team members to achieve operational goals safely.
Requirements
- Experience with operation and maintenance of mobile equipment.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Adheres to safety rules and assists in identifying safe work practices.
- Understand, record, and react to environmental issues within the plant.
- Operate machinery used in the production process and assist with operational needs.
- Handle raw material, finished products, load and unload delivery trucks manually or with use of equipment.
- Maintain and inspect mobile and process equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Work with team members in obtaining operational goals in the safest manner.
