About The Position

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking to fill a Material Handler position in Mossville, IL. This role ensures quality services and support for all missions assigned to their site. The Material Handler acts as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria. Responsibilities include sorting material, accurately filling out paperwork, performing record- and time-keeping activities, completing damaged goods or accident reports, using power- and hand tools, checking parts for non-conformance, making pass/fail decisions on non-conformance items, and using powered industrial trucks and pallet jacks to move material. The role also involves communicating sort/inspection results to managers and supervisors, performing basic mathematics, completing work instruction training, demonstrating written and verbal communication proficiency, using computers, and operating powered industrial trucks with certification. The position requires basic knowledge of materials, production processes, and quality control methods.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria.
  • Sort material as needed.
  • Accurately and legibly fill out paperwork daily.
  • Perform record- and time keeping activities as required.
  • Complete damaged goods reports and/or accident reports as required.
  • Use power- and hand tools typically found in a warehouse environment.
  • Checks parts for non-conformance per work instructions and/or criteria.
  • Makes pass/fail decisions on non-conformance items.
  • Use powered industrial trucks and pallet jacks to move material within the work area.
  • Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source.
  • Accurately perform basic mathematics (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Satisfactorily complete work instruction training.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication.
  • Operating-level proficiency using personal and laptop computers.
  • Capable of neatly and clearly keeping records and recording time keeping.
  • Powered Industrial Truck Operator (OSHA) with certification from TRIGO HT.
  • Demonstrated competency in operating power and hand tools.
