About The Position

Material handlers work independently across several inventory control functions, including raw material, receiving, finished goods, hardware, and shop moves. They use the MRP system to perform a variety of tasks and support safe, quality-focused, productive operations.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write English.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Suite.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines, including PPE and equipment interaction requirements.
• Follow quality processes, including in-process inspection, to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Correctly interpret work orders.
• Perform advanced system transactions, including troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Manage inventory through cycle counting, location management, and inventory organization.
• Support area goals and productivity by setting work priorities and driving continuous improvement.
• Perform basic OSP vendor management.
• Perform advanced inspection tasks, such as visual inspection and weight counting.
• Work in a team environment by following instructions and assisting others as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
