About The Position
Reporting to the designated Production Shift Supervisor, the Team Lead supports all production departments to ensure efficient workflow, quality product output, and adherence to safety and production schedules. This role involves ensuring correct materials are available to operators to maintain a smooth workflow throughout the production areas.
Requirements
- A solid understanding of manufacturing practices.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure, both standard and metric
- Heavy lifting involved; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- National background check based position
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be willing to submit to a national background check.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize production flow and track orders to meet production goals, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
- Maximize machine usage hours.
- Monitor work progress, resolve bottlenecks, and communicate status updates to management.
- Support 5S activities
- Provide hands-on support and training to operators as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce scrap.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
