About The Position

The Material Handler will be responsible for supplying the press department with needed supplies from the warehouse. This role involves keeping the warehouse organized and orderly by unloading trucks, and marking, bar-coding, and putting paper and other supplies into inventory. The position requires constant lifting of 5-50 pounds and pushing/pulling 75-pound carts. The Material Handler will also remove waste from press areas, keep areas organized and stocked, and assist with label pick-ups from press to shipping as needed. A clean work area is expected at the end of each shift.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Proficient understanding of principles in one or more functions.
• 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience
• In-house forklift certification is required
• Good verbal and written skills

Responsibilities

• Supplies Press with papers and supplies
• Unload trucks and putting inventory into the warehouse
• Up stock/down stock the material in the warehouse by using the Forklift and pallet jacks
• Removes waste from press areas and keep all areas organized and stocked.
• Lifts 5-50 pound of paper rolls and supplies constantly throughout the work day and pushes or pulls 75-pound carts on wheels
• Helps with label pick-ups from press to shipping as needed
• Cleans work area prior to end of shift
• Performs other duties as assigned
