About the role:
Ensure and maintain a high level of sanitation, food safety, and safe working environment
Operation, inspection, setup, adjustment, and basic maintenance of fluming equipment, relish cutting equipment, forklifts, hoppers, blanchers and desalt tanks
Verify that the correct produce is being used for each area of work, including produce rotation
Keeps inventory, loading areas and machinery clean
Collaborate with and communicate with colleagues over the radio
Occasionally lift items up to 50lbs
May drive occasionally outside in weather conditions
Start up and shut down of the PPA system for the flume and soak tanks. This includes capping the probes, and turning on and off the controller

Requirements

• Forklift experience required
• Ability to speak, read and write English highly preferred
