About The Position

Apogee Architectural Metals is seeking a Material Handler to play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. The Material Handler will work with a team to move, track, and ship materials accurately and safely. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory and supporting various operational areas through cross-training. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with basic material handling equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks)
• Ability to read a tape measure and use hand tools
• Basic computer/data entry skills
• Ability to follow written instructions and SOPs
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to safely lift and move materials

Responsibilities

• Receive, pick, pack, and ship materials
• Maintain accurate inventory (cycle counts, stock rotation)
• Use warehouse systems (WMS) for tracking and reporting
• Read and follow work instructions and basic blueprints
• Perform data entry and basic computer tasks
• Identify and help resolve inventory discrepancies
• Support multiple areas through cross-training
