Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Duluth, MN is currently seeking applicants for a Material Handler. This position performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing or materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

Requirements

  • 1 - 2 years of related experience (prior Materials or Production experience)
  • Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail in order to properly inspect the close tolerance parts being manufactured.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products
  • This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.”
  • This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” according to U.S. federal law.

Responsibilities

  • Performs inspection of incoming raw material inspections
  • Ensures incoming product meets specification
  • Accepts or rejects raw material lots once analytical data is evaluated
  • Refers to and understands assembly drawings and inspection criteria
  • Lifts heavy items
  • Package goods for final shipment.
  • Ensures product is shipped per customer specified shipping method.
  • Determines weights and shipping charges.
  • Introduced to waste handling, including hazardous waste.
  • Introduced to SCAR process.
  • Prepares Kanban tags
  • Other duties as assigned
