About The Position

Nox Metals is a technology company in Metro Detroit supplying metal. We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible. Shift hours: - Weekdays, First Shift: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM - Weekdays, Second Shift: Monday through Thursday, 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM - Weekends, First Shift: Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM - Weekends, Second Shift: Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Requirements

Committed to safety
Experienced with forklifts or warehouse work, or a fast learner ready to get certified
Attentive to detail, every load, every label, every shipment
Coachable and curious about broader floor operations
A team player with a good attitude
Someone who takes ownership, if it is your shift, it is your responsibility
Reliable and steady under pressure
Comfortable with software, or willing to learn
Organized and dependable
Able to lift up to 50 lbs., operate heavy equipment and be on your feet for a full shift with or without reasonable accommodation
Not afraid to work outside normal hours when America demands it

Nice To Haves

Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment
Forklift and/or overhead crane certification
Experience with bandsaws, industrial saws, or metals handling
Comfortable using AI tools to work faster and smarter

Responsibilities

Follow all OSHA and site safety protocols and hold your teammates to the same standard
Operate forklifts to receive, stage, and move aluminum plate, bar, and rounds, we’ll train and certify you
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
Receive inbound material and verify against purchase orders
Package, label, and stage outbound shipments
Record material movements in our software systems, accurately, every time
Keep the floor clean, organized, and free of hazards
Complete required safety training and certifications
Learn the bandsaw and other metals equipment as you grow in the role
Complete other tasks as assigned
