About The Position

Performs Material Handling duties within the 3DI business unit that pertains to the Logistics Department. Logistics is responsible for transacting all product into and out of the 3DI plating work center. This role involves transferring materials, verifying transactions, visually inspecting product, and transacting panels through multiple stages of Plating operations. It also includes chemical handling, managing inventory of chemicals and consumables, and performing cycle counts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
• Good computer skills including email through Outlook and the ability to learn SAP
• Visual product inspection experience is required
• Able to lift up to 50lbs. with assistance (Per OSHA guidelines)
• Strong attention to detail is an absolute requirement

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with scanning and tracking systems is preferred
• 1 year of Material Handling experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Transfer materials from the incoming rack, into fixtures and placing them into carts to move to the next operation.
• Verify panels are transacted properly, and are secured into the fixtures.
• Visually inspect all incoming and outgoing product for compliance to acceptability specifications.
• Transact panels through multiple stages of the Plating operations.
• Move chemicals to and from stock location.
• Manage the inventory on all chemicals and consumables.
• Perform daily and weekly cycle counts.
• Move material to and from stock locations.
