About The Position

This is a temporary Material Handler position responsible for the movement and proper storage of all materials. The role involves timely transfer of materials and finished goods between production lines and storage, as well as efficient out-loading of products to customers. Key duties include inspecting incoming materials, verifying part numbers, checking for discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The position also requires maintaining organized storage areas, proper upkeep of vehicles and material handling tools, and ensuring all security measures are upheld. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Capable of driving the company trucks.
• Ability to properly operate equipment to safety and productivity requirements, including but not limited to Box Trucks, passenger trucks, fork lifts, pallet jacks, and hand dollies.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.
• Amenable to additional training and/or instruction.

Nice To Haves

• Willing to get a CDL license.

Responsibilities

• Moving and proper storage of all materials.
• Timely movement of materials and finished goods between operating lines and storage.
• Timely out-loading of product to customers.
• Examining incoming material received, verifying part numbers, and checking discrepancies such as damaged or unmarked parts.
• Properly using a Production Inventory Control List.
• Maintaining orderly, neat, and clean storage areas.
• Properly maintaining and examining vehicles including all trucks and forklifts, as well as material handling tools.
• Verifying all security measures are maintained with regards to building locks, doors, gates, secure keys, and other security efforts in place.
• Performing other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
