About The Position

The purpose of this position is to pack all products for safe shipping. This role involves ensuring all products are packaged according to the Quality department's rules and policies and procedures. The Material Handler must adhere to all safety regulations in forklift operations and perform other duties as assigned by management. This position requires responsibility for the daily checklist on the assigned forklift and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. Adaptability to last-minute changes in the daily work schedule is also necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must have valid North Carolina driver’s license.
• Must be able to work split shift between 1st shift, 2nd shift, or the weekend shift.
• Must be able to communicate both orally and written.
• Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16.
• Must be able to operate nail guns and banding equipment.
• Must be able to operate stretch wrap machine and pallet jack.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year(s) forklift driving experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
