Requirements
- Experience in material handling, shipping, and/or receiving is preferred but not required.
- Consideration may be given to a current employee to train into the position at the discretion of the V.P. of Production
Responsibilities
- Manage all materials within the shop, including the handling of shipping and receiving products.
- Track and receive incoming shipments from vendors.
- Process incoming customer returns.
- Prepare, package, and process all outgoing shipments to customers.
- Load and unload vehicles as necessary.
- Distribute materials to the shop floor based on job requirements.
- Follow all safety procedures and policies without exception.
- Collaborate with the VP of Production to improve and maintain safety systems and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and assist in the repair of equipment as needed.
- Maintain the highest level of quality in all parts handled.
- Work with Quality Auditors, the Quality Manager, and others to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
- Meet all key performance indicators.
