About The Position

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Night Shift Material Handler to join our manufacturing team. In this fast-paced, hands-on role, you will help keep production running smoothly by safely transporting materials, maintaining inventory, and ensuring production lines have what they need. This is a physically demanding position in a manufacturing facility and involves operating a forklift for extended periods and working safely around industrial equipment. The environment includes exposure to noise, dust, and high temperatures that may exceed 100°F during summer months. Required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and adjust to changing production priorities.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Must be comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, reach, push, pull, and lift or carry materials weighing 50+ pounds.
Ability to operate a forklift for extended periods and work safely around industrial equipment.
Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Nice To Haves

Previous forklift experience preferred.
Manufacturing, warehouse, or material-handling experience is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move raw materials and finished products.
Keep production lines supplied with materials to prevent delays and downtime.
Load, unload, organize, and properly store materials.
Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate material movement records.
Inspect materials for damage or defects and report any concerns.
Work closely with production employees and supervisors to coordinate material needs.
Assist with equipment setup, production changeovers, and recycling operations as needed.
Remove scrap and waste materials to keep work areas clean and organized.
Follow all safety procedures and report equipment or safety concerns.
Support other production activities as needed.
