About The Position

I.K. Hofmann USA has a need for Material Handlers in Cartersville, Ga. This is a temp-to-full-time position. The role involves safely loading, unloading, moving, and organizing materials using both manual and powered equipment. Key responsibilities include inventory management through detailed counts and stock checks, order fulfillment by picking and packing materials for shipment, and accurate documentation of all material transfers and inventory updates. The position also requires collaboration on process improvements, adherence to safety protocols, and communication with other departments to ensure timely material delivery and resolve discrepancies. Requirements

• Must be able to move up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to position oneself to access equipment, as needed.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for some parts of the day.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States for any company without sponsorship.

• Experience with pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Experience with ERP system adoption.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, move, and organize materials using manual and powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).
• Perform detailed counts, labeling, and stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment based on work orders and customer requirements, including kitting Bill of Materials (BOMs) for accurate kit assembly.
• Accurately complete paperwork for material transfers, shipments, and inventory updates.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a clean, hazard-free warehouse environment.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure timely material delivery and resolve discrepancies.
