About The Position

This position is responsible for completing work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources. It involves managing freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment, utilizing the warehouse management system, and maintaining records. The role also requires compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, while keeping the work area organized and monitoring freight to ensure cold chain and species compliance.

Responsibilities

• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources.
• Manages freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment.
• Identifies, counts, separates, combines, and scans freight.
• Utilizes warehouse management system, terminal scales, and scanners.
• Maintains records, logs, and forms.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Keeps work area organized.
• Maintains freight flow by stacking empty pallets and moving empty pallets using a pallet jack and/or powered equipment.
• Monitors freight to ensure cold chain and species compliance.
