About The Position

The Material Handler's primary job function is to supply the internal and external customer with parts and machines. This role involves locating, picking, and pulling parts for shipment, packing service parts for shipment, and processing shipments through the Fed Ex and UPS systems. Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to work independently.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Ability to use gun scanners effectively.
• Must have the ability to demonstrate problem solving skills.
• Must have good math skills and be detailed oriented.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and Procedure manuals.
• Must pick parts from elevated rack locations.
• Must be able to climb stairs.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work from 5:00 am start time if necessary.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be in good attendance standing.
• Must be able to stand long periods at a time.
• Ability to use computer when necessary to look up locations, part quantities on hand, etc.
• Standard drug-screen and physical.

Nice To Haves

• Prior forklift driving experience preferred, if no experience must be willing to learn and become certified.
• Forklift license.
