We are currently seeking a Material Handler to add to our growing team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse, material handling, or similar role preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or working with HVAC/mechanical components is a plus
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred)
- Familiarity with inventory control and material tracking processes
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn ERP or inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Working knowledge of warehouse safety practices and standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (if applicable to role)
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials for extended periods
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage
- Load, unload, move, and stage materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Store materials in designated locations, including HVAC components (e.g., coils, sheet metal, motors, and electrical parts)
- Maintain accurate inventory through proper labeling, storage, and system tracking
- Pick and prepare materials for production, internal departments, job sites, and service teams
- Ensure materials are safely stored and handled in compliance with company standards
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities; report discrepancies as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with safety regulations
- Coordinate with warehouse staff, supervisors, procurement, and production teams to meet material needs
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and report equipment issues or maintenance needs
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times
