Requirements

  • Must be able to ensure that the forklift, in use, is safe for use.
  • Must be able to stock all production lines with necessary boxes/pallets and totes.
  • Must be able to ensure the timely delivery of all raw materials to the production lines.
  • Must be able to ensure all production lines have the processing aids needed for production.
  • Must be able to stage material throughout the facility.
  • Must be able to ensure physical inventory locations match Plex locations.
  • Must be able to cycle inventory.
  • Must maintain appropriate documentation, physically and electronically.
  • Must follow Creative Foam / Dayton Molded Urethanes policies and procedures.
  • Must work with support staff (engineering, maintenance, supervision, tooling, quality) to resolve issues.
  • Must alert appropriate personnel of deviations/deficiencies in their work areas in a timely manner.
  • Must alert appropriate personnel of equipment issues in a timely manner.
  • Must actively participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Must maintain a clean work area and assist in maintaining a clean facility whenever possible.
  • Must promote the organization’s safety efforts and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Must positively reinforce production goals, standards, and work ethic in their area as well as the entire facility.
  • Must maintain 5S systems throughout the facility.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with forklift operation.
  • Experience with inventory management.
  • Familiarity with 5S practices.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all production lines have the necessary materials to run production.
  • Facilitate material movement, staging, and basic inventory management.
  • Maintain 5S practices throughout the facility.
  • Complete all required audits.
  • Ensure the forklift in use is safe.
  • Stock production lines with necessary boxes, pallets, and totes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of raw materials to production lines.
  • Ensure production lines have necessary processing aids.
  • Stage material throughout the facility.
  • Ensure physical inventory locations match system locations.
  • Perform cycle inventory.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation, both physical and electronic.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Work with support staff to resolve issues.
  • Alert appropriate personnel of deviations, deficiencies, or equipment issues in a timely manner.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain a clean work area and assist in maintaining a clean facility.
  • Promote the organization's safety efforts and maintain a safe working environment.
