About The Position

As a Material Handler, you will perform the duties including but not limited to safely picking, packing, transporting products and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

MHE/ Forklift Certification.
Ability to operate stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift, reach truck, cherry picker or other required materials handling equipment (MHE).
Ability to operate battery hoist
Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Demonstrates commitment and ability to work safely.
Show reliability and maintain satisfactory attendance.
Produce quality work.
Ability to maintain required productivity/work expectations.
Sometimes crawling, sitting, occasionally climbing up to 4 ft. (Must have fall protection training and using proper fall protection equipment).
Occasionally balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, feeling and crawling.
Frequently handling, fingering, talking smelling, reaching (level: Waist/overhead, etc.).
Occasionally gripping, carrying, pivoting, pushing, lifting, pulling up to 60 Lbs.
Occasionally standing and walking on surface type (s): Carpet, tile, concrete.
Continuously sitting, hearing, seeing and repetitive movement using both hands and feet.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Utilize electric pallet jacks, forklifts and carts to pick products to fill customer orders or assist to bring down pallets of reserve stock to replenish pick slots
Manually pick parts/cases of product from warehouse racks to fill customer orders.
Building pallets of products picked to fill the orders.
Ensure accuracy of work and adherence to production, quality, and safety standards.
Pack parts in boxes or fit products on a pallet; ensuring heavy products on bottom to reduce damage, plastic wrapping them, and loading them onto a trailer.
Transport merchandise from receiving dock or reserve slots to proper location in the warehouse.
Maintain the proper replenishment in the computer, using a handheld device, when the pallet is put back in the rack.
Load full pallets of merchandise into trailers and ensure damage is avoided.
Operate forklift and pallet jack.
Inspect trailer for damage before loading.
Utilize RF handhelds and/or voice to verify loading of pallets.
Wrap pallet and stretch wrap.
Perform other duties as assigned.
