About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials, products, and inventory within a warehouse building or manufacturing facility. This role supports production and shipping operations by ensuring materials are accurately received, organized, and delivered to the appropriate locations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience is a plus.
Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification may be required).
Basic computer and inventory management skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
Ability to work in warehouse or manufacturing environments (outside) with varying temperatures (40-115 degrees).
Inventory control and stock management
Warehouse operations
Equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other equipment)

Problem-solving and attention to detail

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments to the warehouse.
Move materials and products using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other equipment.
Store inventory in designated locations according to company procedures.
Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production or shipment.
Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required documentation.
Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting activities.
Ensure materials are properly labeled and organized.
Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work environment. (5S principals)
Report damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervisors.
And all other duties assigned to you by your supervisor.
