Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Experience operating a Stand up and Reach forklift
  • Ability to work unsupervised, be an efficient leader and team player
  • Able to adapt to changing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift).
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and twist while handling materials and performing warehouse operations.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 25 pounds on a routine basis.
  • Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment, including stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Ability to climb on and off material handling equipment repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work in a variety of warehouse and manufacturing environments, including refrigerated, ambient, and controlled storage areas.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, quantities, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Ability to accurately verify material identities, quantities, lot numbers, expiration dates, and storage locations.
  • Ability to follow detailed written procedures, work instructions, batch records, and electronic inventory management systems.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing operational demands during a 12-hour rotating schedule.
  • Ability to make routine operational decisions in accordance with established procedures and departmental requirements.
  • Ability to maintain concentration while performing inventory control, material verification, dispensing, receipt, storage, and shipping activities.
  • Ability to accurately enter, review, and retrieve data from SAP, warehouse management systems, handheld scanners, and electronic documentation systems.
  • Ability to work rotating day and night schedules while maintaining alertness, accuracy, and safe work practices.
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States.

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Sanitation in a food or dietary supplement manufacturing plant with blending experience

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for individual contributions to achieve team deliverables, working effectively as a team member and coordinating with others.
  • Manage personal time and professional development, being accountable for results.
  • Follow standard procedures to complete tasks of varying scope, sequence, and complexity within the agreed timeframe.
  • Identify and solve moderately routine problems.
  • Complete assignments with moderate supervision using established procedures, referring deviations from standard procedures to the supervisor.
  • Ensure work is reviewed for accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards.
  • Utilize a range of equipment including forklifts, conveyors, cranes, hand carts, and power trucks, and perform necessary area cleaning tasks according to prescribed procedures.
  • Communicate effectively up and down the Chain of Command, maintain acceptable attendance, and lead quick and efficient changeovers to minimize room downtime.
  • Maintain direct interaction with all relevant departments, such as production, finance, external vendors, contractors, and quality assurance, and facilitate an environment of continuous improvement with all team members.
