About The Position

Plasman Fort Payne is accepting applications for a 2nd Shift Material Handler position in Plant 2. The Material Handler is responsible for supporting production by transporting materials, components, packaging, racks, and supplies to designated production areas. This position helps ensure production areas have the materials needed to operate safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Ability to safely work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift.
• Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, material handling, or logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials, components, racks, and supplies to production areas.
• Remove finished goods, empty containers, scrap, or other materials from the line.
• Maintain organization in assigned areas and follow 5S expectations.
• Follow all safety, forklift, pedestrian, and material movement procedures.
• Support production needs as directed by the supervisor or manager.
• Communicate material shortages, issues, or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Comply with all established rules, procedures, and Health and Safety mandates.
