About The Position

The Warehouse Material Handler receives, stores, moves, and distributes materials, products, and inventory within the warehouse. This position supports accurate inventory control, timely order fulfillment, and a safe, organized work environment while following company policies and safety standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred but not required.
Forklift certification preferred, or the ability to obtain certification.
Basic math and computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Dependable, with a strong work ethic and attendance record.

Nice To Haves

Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
Load, unload, sort, and stage materials using manual equipment or powered industrial trucks.
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
Move materials to designated storage locations while maintaining inventory accuracy.
Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification may be required).
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment and follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
Accurately complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
Report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or equipment issues to supervisors.
Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
