About The Position

This is a night shift position with a rotational schedule of 2-2-3, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The Material Handler is responsible for supplying forming lines with necessary materials and packaging and warehousing product according to customer specifications and written instructions. They report directly to the Production Supervisor and indirectly to the Warehouse/Logistics Supervisor.

Requirements

• Works 12-hour shifts standing on concrete
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Go up steps periodically throughout the day
• Able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment

Responsibilities

• Supplies forming lines with raw material and packaging supplies
• Removes product from forming lines and printers
• Loads pallet onto empty tipper
• Completes inventory tags correctly and legibly
• Warehouses product in accordance with requirements
• Conducts all duties in accordance with plant safety requirements
• Maintains effective communication between shifts
• Responsible for food safety
