About The Position

Catalent's Greendale facility is a key North American site for gummy technology development and manufacturing, specializing in organic and vegan-based nutraceuticals. The Material Handler plays a crucial role in supporting production by transporting raw, in-process, and finished goods, as well as managing shipping and receiving operations. This role requires meticulous record-keeping of material movements and accurate cycle counts to ensure production goals are met. The position is 100% on-site in Greendale, IN, with a 1st shift work schedule.

Requirements

HS Diploma/GED Required
Minimum one year of experience with forklift operation required
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 45 pounds or move up to 2500 pounds.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and taste or smell.

Responsibilities

Transports raw, in process and finished goods as required by production schedule.
Ships and receives materials necessary to meet production goals and requirements.
Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing product & material movements, accurately.
Processes daily, weekly cycle counts.
Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items related to material processing to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
Performs monthly physical inventory.
Maintains cleanliness and upkeep of warehouse, shipping and receiving area and all equipment and supplies found therein.
Observes and follows safety procedures.
Observes and follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Food Safety Plan (HACCP) and Food Quality Plan (FQP).
Takes responsibility for producing high quality product in each step of production.
Maintains clean work area in compliance with SQF.
Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are followed.
Participates in all necessary training as required to successfully perform job responsibilities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
