About The Position

The Materials Handler will transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations. Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field or similar position is required.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good math and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Efficient time management skills.
At least two years of related experience required.
Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 40 pounds, including wooden skids or pallets.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role or related field is preferred.
College coursework or other formal training in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Consistently follows all safety procedures and uses required dress code and safety equipment.
Handles manual loading and unloading of tires efficiently and safely.
Re-palletizes fallen or disorganized material to maintain product integrity.
Applies plastic wrap securely to damaged pallets.
Assists with inventory counts and cycle counts as assigned.
Supports other areas with physical tasks when requested by supervisors.
Maintains a clean, organized work area.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Operates forklift safely and only if certified and authorized.
