About The Position

PTMW, Inc is seeking a reliable and efficient Material Handler to join our manufacturing team. The Material Handler will be responsible for the safe and timely movement of materials within the facility. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of production and supporting overall manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Forklift operation experience
• Current valid driver's license
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
• Excellent communications skills to deal with both internal & external customers
• Self motivated conscientious worker
• Able to work flexible hours, early or late, depending on needs of the company to include some Saturdays

Nice To Haves

• Forklift Certification
• Inventory control and warehouse experience

Responsibilities

• Transport materials and products to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
• Maintaining storage area in a neat and orderly fashion
• Assure accuracy of inventory
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment with utmost safety and efficiency, ensuring no damage to products, equipment, or infrastructure
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Assist in other areas of production as needed or as assigned.
