About The Position

This role involves basic warehousing duties, including order fulfillment and packing of various products from multiple distribution locations. Associates will perform duties using manual documents or computerized devices, adhering to established operational and inventory control procedures. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure mastery of specific skill sets with a strong emphasis on Safety, Accuracy, and Productivity.

Requirements

  • Ability to read English to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • General mathematical skills including basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions.
  • General problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to exhibit sound and accurate judgment and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer or computerized scanning and printing devices.
  • Ability to work onsite and participate in interactive onsite meetings on a regular and predictable basis.
  • Ability to initiate immediate interaction, coordination, and collaboration with team members, clients, customers, etc.
  • Stand, use hands and fingers to handle, feel, pick or pinch, and talk or hear most of the time.
  • Occasionally stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Limit weight for lifting, pulling, and pushing to no more than 50 pounds.
  • When lifting loads heavier than 50 pounds, use two or more people to lift the load.
  • Ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize detailed tasks with minimal input to accomplish daily and long-term goals.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of related manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Understand picking and stocking documents, labels, and hand-held computerized scanners, personal computers, and printing devices.
  • Identify the correct task list for picking assignments.
  • Pack, store, and redistribute items in an orderly fashion.
  • Pick and stock merchandise from pre-defined designated storage bin locations.
  • Meet or exceed established production goals.
  • Utilize best practices and inventory controls to prevent inventory shrinkage.
  • Assist with training new hires and perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
  • Communicate and escalate issues with peers and principles.
  • Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations, and the overall facility.
  • Practice and comply with all regulations promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
