About The Position

This role involves practicing safe work habits while operating gas/electric powered industrial trucks and other lift assist devices. The Material Handler will position forks, lifting platforms, or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transport loads to designated areas. They will also unload and stack materials with and without lifting devices, conduct inventory on the work floor, and supply operators with raw and finished products as needed. Additionally, the role includes weighing materials and recording weight on tags, labels, or production schedules, performing daily maintenance on industrial trucks (e.g., lubricating trucks, recharging batteries, filling fuel tanks), and effectively communicating with operators and supervisors. Basic math skills are required.
