About The Position

Receives, stores, and distributes products within the warehouse. This role involves reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. The Material Handler will convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage or other designated areas, and sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. They will also pick customer orders from stock, place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to the packing station or shipping department. Additionally, the role requires marking materials with identifying information, opening crates and other containers, coordinating warehouse activities with the warehouse leader and office teams, and cross-training in all facets of the warehouse and potentially other departments. The position also includes completing general housekeeping duties to maintain a continuously safe and clean work environment and maintaining strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Forklift Certification

Responsibilities
