About The Position

McKesson Corporation is seeking a dedicated and efficient Material Handler for a full-time, day shift position. This role is responsible for the safe and accurate handling, movement, and storage of materials within our facility, ensuring timely and efficient operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday, starting at 7:30 AM, until completion of daily tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
  • Ability to operate various material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) is a plus; certification may be required upon hire.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and move materials using various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing lists, noting any discrepancies or damage.
  • Safely store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
  • Pick and stage orders according to pick lists, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare materials for shipment, including packing, labeling, and wrapping.
  • Conduct routine inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
