About The Position

McKesson Corporation is seeking a dedicated and efficient Material Handler for a full-time, day shift position. This role is responsible for the safe and accurate handling, movement, and storage of materials within our facility, ensuring timely and efficient operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work Monday through Friday, starting at 7:30 AM, until completion of daily tasks.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
Ability to operate various material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) is a plus; certification may be required upon hire.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, and move materials using various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing lists, noting any discrepancies or damage.
Safely store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
Pick and stage orders according to pick lists, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare materials for shipment, including packing, labeling, and wrapping.
Conduct routine inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
