In this role you will safely operate industrial equipment to fill, palletize, and transport 50 lb. bags used in chemical processes. You'll conduct routine checks and light maintenance, including minor repairs and equipment adjustments, to ensure smooth operations. In this role you will follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area to support efficient production. You'll collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and resolve any equipment issues quickly.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to pass a respirator fit test and maintain compliance.
  • Ability to drive a forklift and obtain forklift qualification.
  • Willing and able to work multiple schedules, such as swing shifts and combinations of 12-hours and 8-hours, day and night shifts.
  • Ability to perform arithmetic operations quickly and accurately.
  • Ability and willingness to work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to work on your feet, walking and standing, for extended periods of time.
  • Be at least 18 years or age.
  • Willing to take a drug test.
  • Submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process, as well as additional periodic background checks as required by the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) or regulations adopted by the Department of Homeland Security or other regulatory agencies.
  • Candidates are required to have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and resolve any equipment issues quickly.
  • Fill up to 500 bags in an 8 hour shift.
  • Stencil and palletize filled bags.
  • Perform light maintenance including minor repairs and adjustment to equipment.
  • Perform housekeeping tasks and other duties to maintain an organized, clean, safe and productive work area.
