About The Position

The Material Handler moves, loads, and unloads materials under immediate supervision and in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. The role helps KPS Global meet quality, safety, and productivity standards and satisfy customer requirements. The position includes handling materials and products for production, shipping, and waste management; preparing products and containers for shipment; inspecting products; maintaining accurate electronic processes and paperwork; and keeping the department orderly in accordance with 5S standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct requirements.
• Use hand trucks, hoists, and other material handling equipment to move materials and products for production, shipping, or waste management.
• Operate hand tools, including electrical and pneumatic powered tools.
• Construct shipping containers; prepare products for shipment; and crate and/or band products as required.
• Inspect products for conformance to quality, engineering, and customer requirements.
• Complete and maintain accurate electronic processes and paperwork, including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping/receiving systems.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
