About The Position

We currently have an opening for a Material Handler based out of Charlestown, Indiana. This position will report to the Flocking Supervisor. The Material Handler is responsible for supporting production with the movement of workstation supplies and packaging. This position requires organization, lifting and walking. There is forklift driving with this position and forklift certification is required for those times when it is necessary. The Material Handler will also clean and prepare machines to receive bulk material used in production. The Material Handler is a key player in keeping our Department running, and ensuring we are able to meet production requirements in a fast-paced, “just-in-time” environment.

Requirements

• Material handling experience
• Excellent attendance

• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Forklift certification (required for forklift driving)
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary

Responsibilities

• Supporting production with the movement of workstation supplies and packaging.
• Cleaning and preparing machines to receive bulk material used in production.
• Driving a forklift when necessary.
• Ensuring production requirements are met in a fast-paced, “just-in-time” environment.
