About The Position

With over 100 years’ accumulated experience, ZIEHL-ABEGG is the world leading fan and motor manufacturer, providing innovative and energy efficient solutions to their business partners and customers. ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a Material Handler who can be a strong contributor to their heavily expanding company. The Material Handler will be responsible for collecting and delivering material to production in accordance with the production schedule.

Requirements

• Experience in operating forklift
• Work experience in warehousing
• OSHA compliant
• Willingness to train on other machinery, such as turrets
• Time management, communication skills, familiar with metric system, working with hand tools

Responsibilities

• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials to production lines.
• Collects and delivers material to production in accordance with production schedule.
• Ensure quantity and part numbers align with pick lists.
• Maintain in-process inventory counts to ensure continuous accuracy.
• Deliver production materials where needed with accuracy and speed.
• Document materials, record units delivered and location of units.
• Partner with production for seamless processes.
• Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
