About The Position

This position operates a forklift, reach truck/hi-lo, and electric pallet jack to move materials and products within the warehouse. The role also involves order picking and packing, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring accuracy in inventory management. A key aspect of this role is adhering to safety protocols and OSHA guidelines, as well as performing routine maintenance checks on equipment. Assistance with shipping and receiving tasks is also required. Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Experience operating a forklift, reach truck/hi-lo, and electric pallet jack
• Ability to perform order picking and packing
• Proficiency in loading and unloading trucks
• Skills in inventory management and verification
• Knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
• Ability to conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts
• Willingness to assist with shipping and receiving tasks

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift, Reach truck/hi-lo, and electric pallet jack to move materials and products within the warehouse
• Perform order picking and packing duties as required
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other equipment
• Ensure accuracy in inventory management by verifying quantities and inspecting products for damage
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed
